Haematopoiesis and Immune System Development

These mice have their immune systems engrafted with human immune systems. By implanting human foetal thymes and liver tissues in recipients who have had radiation treatment, followed by an intravenous infusion of an autologous foetal liver haematopoietic stem, the most reliable human immunological model is produced.
