Amsterdam is a famous, largest and capital city of Netherland .It is  a fascinating architecture mixture and very famous destination spot in the Europe ,every year it receiving 5 -6 million tourists all over the world. Amsterdam has many 17 th century architecture buildings and many famous tourists spot like van gosh museum, Rijksmuseum , Vondelpark, Dam Square , Amsterdam became very famous in the Dutch Golden Age for its port and it is now known for several other historical places.

The semi-circle is on the side of the IJ, originally the estuary of the Amstel to the Zuiderzee (South sea), nowadays canalised. Going east from Central Station, the railway passes the synthetic islands of the redeveloped Eastern Docklands. North of the IJ is especially housing, although a serious dockland redevelopment has started there too.

Amsterdam has almost 100kms (60 miles) of canals, most of which can be travelled by boat. The three main canals are the Prinsengracht, Herengracht, and Keizersgracht. Amsterdam is affected by the oceanic climate by the North Sea which is in its proximity. Summers are usually warm and autumn and springs are almost always foggy, the winters here can get pretty cold.
